Xu Ziping, Chin. 許子平 Xŭ Zĭpíng (907-60): Chinese Ba Zi scholar, father of the modern Ba Zi Suanming. His lost chief work is The predisposition of ebb and flow [in the] three destiny after Luoluzi (Chin. 珞琭子三命消息賦註 luòlùzĭ sānmìng xiāoxī fù zhù) referring to the fortuneteller Luo Luzi which has not explicitly been identified yet (probably, he lived during the Tang dynasty). The book is narrated in rimes and is considered to be the starting point of the modern Ba Zi.

The book The deep Ocean of Zi Ping (Chin. 淵海子平 yuān hăi zǐ píng) of 許大升 Xŭ Dàshēng (12th century) is tracing back to Ziping’s teachings.
