San Yuan feng shui, from Chinese 三元 sān yuán, literally “the three cycles”: San Yuan feng shui is based on the mathematical and numerical calculation of the Yijing, so it is more oriented to Li Qi (理氣 lĭ qì). San Yuan emphasizes the aspect of time and the influence of qi on us. This system of feng shui is divided into subsystems like the theory of Eight Mansions (八宅 bā zhái, also called East-West system) or Xuan Kong which also includes the Flying Stars (玄空飛星 xuán kòng fēi xīng).
