Yin feng shui, Chinese 陰風水 yīn fēng shuĭ: The application of feng shui in terms of the planing and orientation of tombs. It is said to be older than the yang feng shui which is commonly in use today and deals with the dwellings of living people.
Focus point here is the selection of an appropriate burial ground and a favourable orientation of the tomb stone making sure that the dead will rest in peace and bring fortune to his descendants.
